filed against Mr. Tankesley by a member of the public, actually I believe a former
spouse. The Crime Commission conducted its investigation and at some point during
that investigation, well, originally Tankesley denied the allegations, but while the
investigation was going on, Tankesley resigned his position from the Lincoln Police
Department and notified the Commission that he wished to have his law enforcement
certificate revoked, so that’s the status of the case and that’s the basis for our
revocation proceedings...

Former LPD Officer, Tankesley, Loses Police Certification.

Lets see, if he was innocent wouldn't he have stayed and fought the charges?
